Summer 2023 - we went for Gold!

We gave two of our lively and thoughtful concerts of songs and poetry this summer. Songs ranged from folk to Abba to American shape-note and much besides. Golden flowers, hair, dreams, harvest were all celebrated. Aundiences learned where a crew of intrepid butterflies found their treasure and what happened to the Owl and the Pussy Cat when they lost theirs. And many other delights!
We were enthusiastically supported by organisers and audience at two St Nicholas Churches - Abbotsbury and Broadwey. Many thanks to them.

Kingston Maurward
Along with Wacapella and The Live Wire Choir we sang our Christmas socks off in the glorious entrance hall to Kingston Maurward, to anyone coming in from their 'unicorn' ride to their hot chocolate. Bit of a strange event, but a treat of a place to sing.

Songs from Ukraine, Spain, Exmoor and - even closer to home - the A354 looking out over Weymouth. All beautifully sung with the trademark Quangle Wangle warmth and cheer.
Thanks to sponsorship from Nantes solicitors of Weymouth, and our generous audience, we raised £533 for Médecins Sans Frontières.
